Jane has shared stages with Green Day, Bad Religion, Moby, Porno For Pyros, Gravity Kills and many more. Jane releases music on her own label Autozen Music. She has been recognized by ASCAP and won best alternative album from the largest independent music awards group Just Plain Folks. She has been recognized by Unisong for excellence in songwriting. Currently she is promoting recent EP Trust with music video Byte and production for single, Cowboys Make Good Lovers, is just getting underway and will be shot on location in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Kyoto.
Jane Jensen studied music, audio arts and theatre at Columbia College Chicago. She performed in avant-garde theater and television productions and released music through Martin Atkin's label Invisible, Fiction Records, German label Dragonya and Mushroom Australia. Jensen has been a photographic model for comic book artist the Alex Ross. and starred as Juliet in Troma Entertainment’s Tromeo & Juliet, written and directed by James Gunn and Lloyd Kaufman.
Jane's electronic rock CD titled Comic Book Whore, featured her caricature art and was released by Flip/Interscope Records. She toured the US and Australia as a musician and caricature artist. The album was critically acclaimed and charted high on CMJ. Band members included music producer Craig Kafton and Siouxsie and the Banshees guitarist John Valentine Carruthers. Comic book artist Gene Ha represented Jensen's “Comic Book Whore” in an issue of DC comic’s Top 10.
Jensen toured and recorded with the all-girl spunk band The Dollz with Sandy Brockwell, Cat Oberg, Emily Barracano, Dawn McGrath, Kate Skater and Vanessa Johnson. Jane released the EP "Dollzrock" and performed regularly for Troma Entertainment, independent film festivals and at the historic CBGB's.
Jensen had a recurring role in USA network’s The Big Apple and recently co-starred on Law & Order SVU.
